The Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev, the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov, the Executive Director of Academica 2011 Boris Todorov and the representative of the consortium DZZD Dvorana Eng. Nikolay Nikolov, who is Deputy Chairman of the MB of BCC- Burgas, made an inspection of the construction of Arena Burgas hall. DZZD Dvorana is with a managing partner Bildnix Ltd. and participant Vodstroy 98 AD.
“I am very pleased with the progress of the construction. This will be the most impressive sports hall in Bulgaria, the most rationally planned and designed. Arena Burgas will be an extremely functional facility of great importance for the Bulgarian sport. We will be able to host competitions of the highest rank,” Minister Krasen Kralev commented for Stroitel Newspaper.
During the inspection it became clear that the rough construction of Arena Burgas will be completed by the end of the year and by the end of 2018 the hall will be completely ready. Burgas Municipality wants the site to be completed as soon as possible. Builders work with longer working hours.
“There is visible progress in the realization of the site, the municipal administration is in constant contact with the contractor and cooperates to the maximum on all the issues raised,” said the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov. “I am pleased with what I have seen, I expect the speed of construction to be maintained and the hall to be ready within the foreseen term,” he added.
“The processes are going well now. Personally, I am satisfied with the entire inspection. I think we will keep the deadlines as well as the financial parameters,” said the Executive Director of Academica 2011 Boris Todorov.
“In Burgas for our joy the building process does not stop. If funding continues at this rate, the hall will be ready by the end of 2018, the deadlines are realistic,” said Eng. Nikolov.
