BCC gathers the institutions about a discussion on the public procurement

A round table about the ‘Modernization of the public procurement’ organized by BCC is being held today in the central office of BCC. The event which main media partner is ‘Stroitel’ newspaper is supported by Tomislav Donchev, Minister of the EU Funds Management and a number of experts from the state institutions take part in the discussions. The structure that is directly committed to the system of the public procurement and the observing of its public character and transparency, of the loyal concurrence and the uniformity – The Public Procurement Agency – is represented by its Executive Officer Miglena Pavlova, its Secretary in Chief Ivo Katsarov and the Head of the ‘Monitoring, analyses and methodology of the public procurement’ department Hristina Deneva.
The round table is officially opened by Venelin Terziev – Vice-Chairman of BCC and Vice-President of FIEC, eng. Ivan Boikov – Executive Officer of the Chamber, eng. Nikolai Stankov – Chairman of the RC of BCC Sofia and host of the event, Minister Tomislav Donchev and Denitsa Nikolova – Head in Chief of the ‘Programming of the regional development’ department in the Ministry of the Regional Development and Public Works.
Among the topics to be discussed is the current situation with the Public Procurement Act after the last amendments that took effect in February this year and especially the problems, faced by the constructors when taking part in auctions. The challenges faced most frequently by the contractors will be set forth by experts.
