Eng. Plamen Pergelov : In 2015 “Stroitel” newspaper will continue to defend its reputation as best edition in the sector
Mr. Pergelov, a year ago with a decision of the BCC Board you took over the management of the Chamber’s publication. How do you evaluate the past 2014? As a beginning I want to mention three things. First, we continued to develop the achievements of the previous management of the newspaper who left us some high standards of work and for which we thank our colleagues. Second – the team of the publication is wonderful, young, ambitious and growing at a fast pace team who under the leadership of the procurator and chief editor has achieved remarkable growth. Third – the selected by the Board Council of Directors approved the collective style in the media policy making and management. The year 2014 both for the industry and for the publication of the Chamber was difficult and challenging. The main task of the team to fully reflect the multiple activities of the organization, its regional offices and construction companies was fulfilled. The team of the newspaper works to inform the members of the sector organization and the companies listed in CPRB as well as responsible institutions in the sector about activities, policies and positions of the Chamber, promote its objectives to the public, promote its authority both in the country and internationally. For the period were published 52 issues, successfully were launched new columns as great popularity enjoyed “Regions in Growth”. In addition to the creation of a high quality professional product, the company’s work was directed to several other areas. What are the intentions and plans of the company’s management for 2015? Despite the achieved results I have already mentioned the team is motivated to work even better in 2015. As BCC edition the newspaper’s activities correspond with the main guidelines of the Chamber for 2015. We will work for professional and quality preparation of the newspaper. Our plans are to continue promoting the Chamber positions, its priorities, work for strengthening of the authority of the organization through publications on topical issues, related to changes in legislation – PPA, SPA, introduction of standard contracts, observance of ethical norms in the industry and formation of intolerance to negative phenomena, strengthen the role of the established rubric “On target” and with its development in the direction of publications on various issues facing the entire sector. I use the opportunity of this first interview I give for the newspaper to express my gratitude to the team for the support and cooperation we receive from the BCC Board, regional representatives of the Chamber and a number of leading construction companies in the industry. Practice proves every day that when we are together, united, when we defend the interests of builders in their whole activity, we achieve much. I wish my colleagues, readers of the newspaper and the entire team health, strength and many successfully implemented objectives in the new 2015!
