„I felt real satisfaction with the progress made with the construction of all the lots of Hemus Motorway. A huge scope of works is being done. We must be proud with the Bulgarian constructors who build incredible facilities“, stated the Prime Minister Boyko Borissov during the inspection of progress of construction works at Hemus Motorway from Boaza up to the Pleven road junction, that he carried out on his birthday. During the site visit he was accompanied by the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov and the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Nikolay Nankov.
„This is the best present for my birthday. I want all Bulgarians to witness the progress of construction works at Hemus and how the rocks are being broken down and how the motorway is being constructed. Those people working at this altitude are heroes, and I thank them!“, stated Borissov.
The Prime Minister for another time reconfirmed, that completion of the motorway remains a main priority for the government. It is envisaged that the motorway will be fully completed by 2024. „I am sure that it will give a considerable impetus to the development of the entire North Bulgaria“, he added.
