President Rosen Plevneliev: I will work for modern infrastructure

President Rosen Plevneliev officially took office and along with Vice-President Margarita Popova for the first time crossed the threshold of “” 2 after the ceremony on the Sofia square “St. Al. Nevski”. In his first speech he repeated the priorities of the institution over the next five years which he presented on Thursday to the MPs during his oath in the National Assembly. “I will work for growth, for a better business environment, for more investment, for efficient administration of justice, for international relations of the country and for its modern infrastructure,” said the President. He once again stressed that he will open “Dondukov” 2 for citizens and that the institution will be a center for debates and generation of solutions. “I appeal to you: use it because citizens set the agenda for the institutions and because citizens have the right to require from politicians to be consistent, open and effective in national priorities. I have no doubt that Bulgaria will develop. The question is how fast we will make the progress on national goals to be a worthy European member state, medium rich, with a developed economy, a country with a worthy place for its people where young people stay because they see prospects for development. Let’s build this Bulgaria together,” said Rosen Plevneliev.
