“Nadezhda” with metro from 1 August

Boyko Borisov: The largest infrastructure  in our history is going with an excellent rate

  The metro from overpass “Nadezhda” to “Cherni Vrah” Boulevard will be put into action ahead of schedule in August. The first stage of the Underground Railroad from “Mladost 1” to “Tsarigradsko Shosse” will be ready in May-June. Then will be made operational tests. “The metro is the largest project in the history of our country. We have support by the European Commission for its construction. We will save the citizens 130 thousand hours after releasing the second beam of the Underground Railroad.” Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said this while checking the construction of the metro. He inspected it along with Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Ivailo Moskovski, Minister of EU Funds Management Tomislav Donchev, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova, Mayor of Sofia Municipality Yordanka Fandakova and Renaldo Mandmets from the European Commission. “After the metro we will finish Trakia, Struma and Maritsa highways. In June this year should also be ready the Southern arc of Sofia,” added the Prime Minister.
