The Central Professional Register of Builders (CPRB) entered its fifth year. Since the start, it has managed to create a mechanism by which all who recognize themselves as builders will come to light. The register was established and put order in the industry. In recent months the Chamber achieved great success – CPRB has found a place in the Public Procurement Act. This means recognition and new responsibility. These circumstances require restructuring of the system of the register in the part Declaration of experience. So far, that was free and each company stated the construction sites it has worked on by itself. However, checks revealed that some companies were not quite correct. The Commission for keeping, use and maintenance of CPRB took measures and established clear rules on which in coming months each builder should declare his experience. The database of experience is archived to date. The Regional Office of BCC – Sofia, together with experts from “Register” unit organized a training seminar for builders on this topic. One of the largest lecture halls at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy was close for all who wanted to attend. Over 200 builders from Sofia and the region sent a representative.
