BWA elected new chairman

  As new chairman of the Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) was elected Ivan Ivanov, who until recently was procurator of “Sofia water”. This happened at the regular election meeting of the BWA. It was held in the building of the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. The new chairman of the BWA said that the potential of the organization must be shown and used better. He will work for more active interaction with institutions. According to him, BWA should appear first with opinions on the problems of the water sector but also with suggestions for solutions. Ivan Ivanov will stand for socially weak to get help with paying utility bills for water, similar to electricity bills. In his words, BWA will work to develop international activities, particularly with the neighbors. The new chairman will propose the establishment of a register of best companies in the sector.
