“Stroitel” newspaper has turned three years since the beginning of its issue on 3 April 2009. The symbolism of the number three here is not accidental. In Bulgarian folklore it means the trinity of the world – heaven, earth, water; the triple nature of man – body, soul and spirit. The triangle is the first symbol of the term “everything”, a symbol of creativity and forward movement. Besides being symbols of excellence, the triangle and the number three are the first symbols of creativity. In physics and engineering the three points make up the first resistant structure – immovability. Three stands for equilibrium and completeness. At the same time three years is just the beginning of a long life. It is the beginning of our ambition and restlessness because we have not stopped to prove that we can always do more and better as continually we can build on the achieved. The newspaper you hold in your hands today is quite different from “Stroitel” you saw in 2009 but it has kept its essence affirming the authority of one of the most respected professions – that of the builder. Starting from 24 pages we grew to 32 and then to 40. Our team also grew and after moving to the new building of BCC our editorial office grew too. The important thing however is that in congratulation addresses to us you all – the persons of “Stroitel” newspaper, the management of the Chamber and the regional chairmen of BCC – specify another growth. It consists in the power of our voice, in professionalism, in our activity which is useful not only for the construction industry but also for the state administration and municipalities. The recognition that we are a mirror of the responsible, objective and highly qualified journalism gives us the greatest joy – that of the artist who sees how his talent builds wealth for others. Besides leading information on the construction industry, activities and initiatives of the BCC which is useful to the sector it is especially important to us that although strictly special edition we help the general public outside construction. Besides establishing on the media market and our accurate look on current events we have succeeded to become part of them. By organizing seminars and conferences, we promote the direct link between experts and the executive and legislative power, between local authorities and businesses because one thing is certain – positive results come when we work together with one common goal – a better future of our country.
