The real work of building e-government to start

Literally within days begins the real work of building e-government in Bulgaria. This was announced personally by Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski at a special ceremony in the Council of Ministers attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov and Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Varely Borisov. At the ceremony Moskovski signed four contracts with the contractors to work on the project “Development of administrative services by electronic means”. It is worth BGN 18 million and is the largest in the e-government so far. Its funding is supported by Operational Program “Administrative Capacity” (OPAC), co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund. The full capacity of the e-government will start first on the territory of Sofia Municipality.
