The national competition “I can build” for young graduates from vocational schools in construction supported by BCC is now at the start of its fourth season. The idea to give a chance for future professionals in the construction business to find their vocation by developing in a team with peers simulation projects in the categories “Modern house”, “Traditional Bulgarian house”, “Bungalow” and “Pavilion” increasingly finds supporters. High school teachers and experts from BCC, CAB and CEID help for the successful entry into the details of conceptual and working projects, the ability to present a project to investors.
Foundations of this project were laid in 2009 on the initiative of the Chairman of the BCC Regional Office – Plovdiv Plamen Ivanov, board member of the BCC and responsible for professional training in it.
The project is not intended to cover the entire education system but based on limited resources to find a range of motivated and talented people and they to become a model for others to raise the level of the profession. These are very well invested funds in time for the future development of the construction industry.
