Voila une idеe: The Profitable Building in Ruse

Built in the beginning of the 20th c. – in 1901, the Profitable Building became part of the new town planning. The construction of modern houses, banks, streets, squares, formed the European aspect of Ruse. The buildings create atmosphere close to that of Vienna, Bucharest and Budapest in the style of Neoclassicism. The Profitable Building with its striking monumentality turns into an emblem of this European atmosphere of the town. Until its foundation theatrical performances were staged in the hall of “Islyah hane” built in 1865-1870 during the time of Midhat Pasha. The Ruse Theatrical Association, the first established in Bulgaria, needed a place for expression.
