1,100 construction companies drop out of the Central Professional Register of Builders
1,100 construction companies have not gone through the procedure “Annual confirmation” in the Central Professional Register of Builders (CPRB) and have dropped out of it, while 414 are the newly registered companies. As of 20 October the companies in CPRB number 4,072. That was reported by the Chairman of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC) eng. Svetoslav Glosov at his first meeting with journalists held in BTA with great media interest. Data became clear after on 30 September the term expired for the successive “Annual confirmation” in the Register. According to his words, companies that dropped have been created for the construction of several buildings in the period of residential construction boom. As a tendency in the sector he reported reorientation of a lot of companies to infrastructure construction. The reason, according to him, is that movement in the sector is forthcoming due to the active work on operational programs. He also pins hopes connected with the big energy projects in Bulgaria.
